I have decided to create my digital artefact as a podcast named Plot holes & Ecstasy that will be centred around commentary on my life experiences and delving into topical content that I’m interested in, see below.
I’m a big fan of the captivating, transportive nature of podcasts. This is a skill I wish to progress in and can be concurrently utilised in my subjects. To put it simply, I am aiming my project at me as a learning tool for editing, interviewing skills and producing engaging content through constant iteration.
That being said in addition with my research so far, I have not uncovered any podcasts similar to what I’m aiming to produce in this geographical area so that could aid me in stimulating growth of the podcast for a local audience.

I have been listening to a myriad of podcasts I enjoy and by digging around on their various platforms, I have been noting what feedback they get on episodes and topics and how they engage their audience.
I am also lucky to have lived on two continents so my interviewees will be diverse with an added ability to talk about topics beyond our current bubble which I think will add an element of depth and/or duality.
Thus far I haven’t been able to glean any feedback from my platforms (IG, Soundcloud & Buzzsprout) but the analytics tools are useful. As I continue the conceptualisation / feedback loop, I’ll be able to mold my parameters and skills around actionable insights.
