Sheesh world, it feels like the eye of Sauron is fixed on planet Earth at the moment and there’s many things a brewing. I personally feel overwhelmed by the complexities of the planet lately and my inner landscape of desire, dreams and disillusion. So I wonder how as a uni student in the field of Communications, Media and Journalism (where our gaze is inevitably turned outward) that we can focus on our study & engage with the content and not continuously tumble down the rabbit hole of outside forces out of our control.

My curiosity lies in how you curtail your concentration and silo your intention to study and succeed with the not so ironic tidal wave of external happenings. Existential dread is dominating my headspace and diverting my limited lens of focus therefor my research will embody how this sensation is playing out in realtime for other students. Imposter syndrome has been sliding into my mind scape questioning my relevance of studying when there is so much afoot.
